Video Alert x 3!! Mascara Reviews, Get Ready With Me Filming Day Edition and Perfume Collection!

Hello people!

I was in an epic filming mood a few days ago so I made 3 videos in one day!!! Since I had decided to film that day, I filmed a "Get Ready With Me - Filming Day" video, which was actually much harder than it sounds....

Embedding the video won't work which is annoying so click this sentence for the video!

After I filmed that I asked a friend what she would like to see me do and she suggested a mascara review and perfume collection!

Yay this embedding worked!!

And I can't embed the last video! :( Does anyone know how to make the Youtube search easier on inserting a video??

My 5 Mascara Reviews! Click it

If you have any requests for videos I could make please let me know! Thank you for reading if you've made it this far xx

My Top 5 Nail Polishes

Hello People! (is there anyone there?? please let me know in the comments, i really don't know if anyone does read my posts.. :( )

Last night I decided I didn't want to wear the nail polish "You Only Live Twice" from the Skyfall Collection by OPI so I took it off my nails and sat at my make up trolley and tried to decide which to wear next. I literally sat there for a good 5 minutes trying to decide which colour to put on...

While I was umming and aahhing about which colour to choose, I thought to myself "hmmm I love a lot of these colours, I should pick my top 5 and write a blog post!" So here is that blog post.

I would never be able to choose my number one favourite so I'm not listing the colours in any particular order. Here they are:

Left to right: You're Such a Budapest by OPI, Pure Pearlfection by essie, Teenage Dream by OPI, an unnamed colour by KIKO make up milano and Bag a Bachelor by nails inc. london for Cleo.

I've only recently bought You're Such a Budapest but I absolutely LOVE it. You only need to use 2 coats of it and it stays on for soooo long (I've had it on my toe nails for about 3 weeks and it hasn't even chipped!).

I bought Pure Pearlfection about a year ago and love the colour and all but you need about 3-4 coats on your nails for it to show the actual colour. After it is on though, it stays on for a good couple of days without chipping. It is also a really good colour to put on top of a solid colour to add some glitter and shine.

When I was in Fiji at the start of 2012 I went to the spa at the resort and got a manicure with this colour. I loved it so much that I bought it at Duty Free at the airport on the way back home. Like the other OPI nail polish, you only need 2 coats and this is also another colour that stays put, possibly a bit too much. It's like all other glitter nail polishes where you have to soak a cotton pad in nail polish remover and scrub quiet hard to get it off.

The orange nail polish by KIKO was given to me by my french exchange student last year and she also gave me a pink, blue, red, silver and metallic coloured ones. The quality of this nail polish is absolutely amazing and the orange is such a good colour when on your nails. I've found that with some orange nail polishes, they seem to kind of "blend" in with my skin tone and it just looks weird but this orange is a shade that you can see well and it's lovely to wear during the summer with other bright colours.

Lastly, but certainly not the least, is the Bag a Bachelor. I actually received this nail polish with a magazine and for a nail polish that is given to you like that, it is really good quality! It dries super quickly after about 2-3 coats depending on how dark you want the shade of pink to be, and it doesn't peel off easily if you chip any of your nails. This shade is perfect for spring and summer and I loved to wear dresses and skirts with it because it reminds me of being a ballerina :D

Thanks so much for reading this, if you have made it this far! I would love to hear some feedback if you have read this, and until next time, be sure to add a spark of glitter into your life

Video Alert: Autumn (Fall) OOTD

Hello people!

Yesterday I posted a new video on my youtube channel! As it is spring in the northern hemisphere and autumn (fall) in the southern hemisphere, I tried to make the video so it could relate to both halves of the world so the look that I did can also be a spring outfit and make up :D

Please let me know how you like it and subscribe if you would like (it seriously would make my day if you did because I've been making videos for about 3 months and still no subscribers :( )

How to: Live with unpredictable hair

Hello people,

I woke up this morning and continued along with my little routine in the bathroom and when I looked into the mirror, I literally saw a lion!! My hair was that poofy not all of it fit in the mirror view! Some days it isn't like this but the majority of the time it is. It's not that I have curly hair but not straight hair either which makes it really hard to deal with, I have spend time (and damage) straightening or curling it or I have to put it up in a braid or a bun, neither of which I particularly like.

On some very lucky mornings I wake up and my hair is almost completely straight or has nice waves depending on the humidity but here's what my hair looks like straight after brushing it on a bad morning:

All poofy and frizzy!!!

I've tried SO many different de-frizzing products and absolutely none of them worked and even the shampoo and conditioners I have used hasn't made a difference! Now since I heat style it on some days the ends of my hair are becoming a sort of grainy feeling and just not very healthy while I am trying to grow my hair so it really isn't helping in the growth as I am having to have hair cuts often :(

If anyone is reading this, please let me know what your hair is like and if you have/had similar hair to mine, what do you do it to make it liveable with!

Hello World!

Well hello there!

My name is Emily and I'm an Australian teenager and have been making Youtube videos for about 2 months now and loving it but sadly no subscribers :(

I've seen a couple of blogs and thought it would be pretty cool to start one so here it is! Since this is my first blog post I thought I'd say one thing that has happened to me each year since I was born:

1995: I was born in Sydney, Australia
1996: I travelled, with my parents obviously, to England for my first birthday
1997: I pulled on a friend's plait after she did it to me and got told off by her mum for doing it to her             child first.
1998: I moved up to the state of Queensland in Australia.
1999: I started dancing and the first concert I performed in, we danced to the "Groovy Chicken"
2000: I had my first "boyfriend" in preschool
2001: I started primary school and luckily a good friend from dancing was in my class!
2002: My best friend's "boyfriend" broke up with her to "be with me"
2003: I was a commentator at a school assembly for the first time in my life
2004: Entered my first Eisteddfod for Speech and Drama
2005: I got my "pen license" at school and thought I was the smartest kid in the class even though another 10 people had theirs...
2006: My family and I travelled to Singapore and Phuket to visit my Godfather and his family over the Easter holidays
2007: My grade at school performed High School Musical and I was a cheerleader!
2008: I entered high school and began the many realisations of who my true friends are
2009: Went to Sydney for a second time for the school music tour
2010: My 3 bestfriends "left" me half way through the year, one moved back to England, one moved to a school an hour away from where I live and the other went on an exchange to New Zealand for 3 months.
2011: I was diagnosed with performance anxiety which prevented me from performing in my school band and class speeches without having to do it at lunchtime with just the teacher and one other person in the room
2012: After graduating from high school I went to England and France for 6 weeks for my end of school celebrations

And that is a very small recap of my life so far!
